PAYMENT

When is my payment due?
Our team splits payments into different phases aligned with your project milestones. Initially, a deposit is generally due, with the remainder invoiced throughout the development of your project. Full payment is due before the launch of your website unless otherwise specified in your agreement.

Do I still have to pay my invoice after I cancel a contract?
Yes, you are responsible for payment for any work completed up until the point of cancellation. We bill based on the time and resources allocated to your project, even if it’s unfinished.

What is the rate for additional work outside the scope of my contract?
Any work outside the initial agreed scope is billed at our standard hourly rate. If you are looking for additional services, we will notify you beforehand and get your approval before moving forward.

What if I do not pay my contract?
Withholding payment may result in a pause in your project, a hold on deliverables, or legal action if necessary. We’re always happy to work with you if you’re experiencing issues—we ask that you communicate any concerns with us directly.

CONTRACT

What if I need additional services after I sign my contract?
Any additional services can be added at any point. Before we proceed, we’ll provide a new estimate or scope proposal for your approval.

What if I want to cancel a service after signing my contract?
You can cancel services at any time. However, outstanding payments will still be due upon receipt of invoices.

How long is my initial contract?
Most website projects span 2–4 months, depending on the deliverables needed. Contracts for ongoing services like maintenance or SEO are typically month-to-month or based on the agreed term.

SERVICES

Will I have access to my website’s backend after it launches?
Yes. Once your website is launched and paid in full, you’ll receive full backend access unless specified in your contract.

Is the cost of my website domain and server included in the price of services?
Domain and hosting costs are separate unless bundled into a specific package. We’re happy to help you register a domain or set up hosting as needed.

Do I need my own hosting service, or can I host my website with Highstreet?
You’re welcome to host your website with us or use your own domain server. We offer secure and fast hosting options, especially if you’re enrolled in one of our Maintenance & Security Plans.

Who will manage/maintain my website?
If you’re enrolled in a Maintenance & Security Plan, our team will handle updates, backups, and security monitoring. Otherwise, site management is your responsibility after launch.

What comes with the Maintenance and Security Plans?
Our plans typically include plugin and theme updates, security monitoring, weekly backups, uptime monitoring, and priority support. Ask us for a full list of plan features.

PROCESS

How long will it take to develop my entire website?
Development time depends on the project scope, the content provided, and how quickly clients respond with updates. However, most websites are completed within 2–3 months using our streamlined, phased approach.

How does my website’s SEO help me gain leads?
